Aurora Borealis lights are the green lights in the photos. The full moon makes the clouds gray, or white-like, and the moon light illuminated the fall colored trees in the darkness with 15 to 30 seconds exposures. All northern light pictures taken after midnight from about 12:15 to 2:00 a.m. around Fairbanks, Alaska.
